My mother is a patient of Dr. Nichols. It was clear to me and I am not a doctor that my mother was developing alzheimer's. I have been through a constant struggle to obtain the necessary help from Dr. Nichols to get the information I need but more importantly, a consistent supply of the medicine my mother requires every single day. I agree with the other comment, if you do not ask him, he will not tell you. Make sure you come armed and prepared every single time. Also, ALWAYS follow up

I call this guy the absent minded professor. Dr. Nichols has been my doctor for years, only because I haven't been able to find another who is accepting new patients. He is all about doing tests, and then not giving you the results or forgetting to give you the results. Ask him what your cholesterol level was and he'll only tell you it's high. Here, better take Crestor. He is more interested in revolving door medicine. Get'em in, get'em out. Make them come personally to get a prescription refill, all about the billing. A physical with him lasts about five minutes. Seriously. I have a bad back and insisted on x rays and MRI which were conclusive in showing a bulging disc and he referred me to a so-called back specialist Dr. Forget, Mr. $50 an injection (another review on him later). If you are going to see Dr. Nichols, be sure you ask lots of questions because he is not forthcoming on anything. I think he wrote the book on Pass the Buck.
