I was diagnosed as most likely having hodgkins lymphoma. I was sent to Dr. Marcus to set up a biopsy get results and recommend further treatment. After waiting 2 weeks for my first appt. and 2 weeks for results told biopsy was not valid and needed another one, waiting for that appt. and then being told when I called to make an appt. for my results that he had retired with no notice to me or my results given after second biopsy. I turned to Kingston hospital where I was eventually to be set up with an oncologist and contacted them. I had an appt. with an oncologist and my results in 3 days which I couldn't get from Marcus or a receptionist, a treatment plan with all the tests (cat scan, pet scan, breathing test etc. which I had not had in 7 weeks from first visit with Marcus and a treatment plan set up. I am extremely upset with all the waiting from this doctor and then being told he retired and I couldn't get my results as his office number was then taken over by someone else who had no clue how to help me. When you are diagnosed with likely having cancer the wait for test results and diagnosis is worse than the diagnosis and I feel Dr. Marcus should be ashamed at how he conducted business and I hope no one else has to go through what I did.

He did a great job on my mothers surgery except his staff were behind on time and ending up rushing to get my mother prepped to see him post surgery (they ripped out her tubing) which then led to scar tissue and then a year of pain before radiation .. so although this is not the doctors fault he should look closely at his assisting staff.
