Great doctor, I was referred to him by my GP because of angina. Dr Leach examined me and immediately referred me to a great physician at the Heart Institute who saved my life. He listens well, confident, knows what needs to be done. Happy to have him on my team !

Dr. Leach is just one very pleasant, decent, friendly, competent doctor who cares about his patients. He takes time to explain things; his demeanor is first-rate

My 77 year old mother went to see him in October because as a past heart patient she wasn't feeling right and suspected something was wrong. He tends to downplay her concerns but sent her for a nuclear test anyway which, apparently according to several hospital staff at the Heart Institute is useless. According to Dr. Leach my mothers test came back completely fine, no issues or reason for concern. Either this test isn't designed to detect blocked arteries or he doesn't know how to interpret the results. Because of this negligence my mother had a major heart attack on the weekend and had to have two stents put in one artery that had a 95% blockage. How does this happen in a six week period??? Clearly he does not give good quality care.
