She is down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable, resourceful, empathetic, funny and she appropriately shares personal experiences. The laptop bothered me at first – but I now recognize that if I had to record notes from appointments, typing it would be most efficient way for me to do it. The other thing I realized is that if she records the notes while in session, she won’t have to take time later to do so – which means she has more time to see more patients. Although she can be disorganized at times - I really appreciate her humanness. I have never felt judged or shamed by her and she has never treated me condescendingly. She is flexible with appointment times, and is a good communicator (via telephone and email) Thank you Dr. Dickson for being you.

Dr. Dickson is well versed in DBT and mindfullness. She was able to determin the medication I needed immediately. She is consistent in her treatment ability. I am grateful to have her as my psychiatrist.She has no staff.
