I had this Dr. for years as child up until my thirties and stopped, and I have found he is declined in remembering your health problems, he is very blunt and at times his mannerism changes depending on his day, my daughter does not like him at all, she gets a bad feeling from him, I stopped seeing him as he is not open to discussing different ideas and medical advice. Yes he was very good at first, but I did not want to see him no more due to his change in his attitude and caring demeaner! Smart yes, but has been in practice very long and he needs more help in office that's for sure, he has hard time referring you to specialist and wants to be the one to diagnose and treat, well he needs to wake up and get back to the doctor he once was! Sorry but I would not go back or recommend him, he has been in it a long time and he needs to really think about his quality of care, unless your a basic healthy person well your good to go! not for me anymore, but do give thanks to his past care many years ago! Good luck!

I am 6 years his patient. I am completely disappointed with his carelessness. I agree with others about his overconfidence. Always my appointments were delayed for half- even one hour. There were no referrals to the specialists even I asked him kindly. Currently I am looking for another doctor.

I am his patient for the last 20 years but I find that over the last 5 years he does not even remember what is in my medical file. I have to remind him what are my problems. His staff are not medically trained. He has no nurse to help him so he does everything himself. He does not like to refer you to a specialist. He prefers patients who have a special insurance with him. It will be good if he improved his listening skills with his patients.

I was a patient of Dr. Barnabe for 37 years. That says something. He is/was the best doctor I ever had: in all he did. He practices medicine in English, Spanish and French and is comfortable in all three languages.

Overconfident,disorganized,lately his memory isn't the best. Will get you to specialized doctors if you ask.Sometimes with a little pressure from you.
