Terrible doctor and she does not have any bedside manners. After waiting for a whole year for the appointment and and an other hour in her office, she spent less than 2 minutes with me telling me that I should not waste her time. She was like that last time, too. I thought she had a bad day. I am afraid that that's who she is. I will look for aother doctor.

She could not find my ultrasound so I had to go back for another appointment. She was late both times. She did an internal exam and could not find the ovarian cyst which was clear on the ultrasound so she insisted it didn't exist.

I had Dr. Amankwah while I was pregnant with my first child. She was the fourth doctor we had seen during the pregnancy and she made me feel very at ease during the aapointments. she took me through step by step detail and was never in a rush to leave for her next patient. If you needed her she was there. There was a week when she was not available for my appointment but it was understandable because she was recovering from a surgery. However, she did go the extra mile and book an appointment with another female doctor so that I did not miss my weekly check up. I only wish she was more than an ob and a gynocologist, otherwise I would have her be our family physician.

She is a very busy woman, but always pleasant, open to ask questions, and the only Dr, I have known that actually apologizes for making a patient wait past the scheduled appointment time. I feel very comfortable to be under her care.
