After reading reviews for Dr. Del Grande before my bone marrow aspiration I was concerned to say the least. However, my experience was very positive.I found him to be friendly caring and approachable.He gave me time to ask any questions I had,any suggestion of pain was immediately addressed with more pain medication. I would have no concerns should I need to go back for more bone marrow tests.

I hope never, ever, have to deal with DelGrande again. Late, rude, aragande, dismissive, uninformative, giant ego, to list only a few of my reasons. I had to go to another hospital that he is not part of to finally get a referral to a specialist. My biggest regret is not asking my family doctor to refer me to a specialist before I had to deal with him.

I was scheduled for an endoscopy in Kingston at the liver clinic and then it was rescheduled to Smiths Falls under the direction of Dr. Del Grande. He began the procedure while I was still completely conscious causing me to cough, gag and gasping for air. In an attempt to push him away he physically held me down on the table with his body weight causing bruising of my ribs. I believe the procedure was aborted once he realized that the anesthesia was either not taking effect or was not administered. In my opinion this was a gross malpractice which left me with a paranoia of having further medical tests. I would refuse to undergo any future procedures done by him and would not recommend others to consult him for any medical assistance.

My husband and I went to see Dr. Del Grande after my husband's stroke. We walked out of his office deflated, depressed and vowing never to see him again. His arrogance was only surpassed by his poor listening skills.

Dr. Del Grande cared briefly for my ailing Mother. He went out of his way to care for her and our family through out the process. He was not her primary care giver but made after hour visits to my Mom. Called me at home for a lengthy conversation and eventually another call to offer his condolences. The Health care system should have more physicians like Dr Del Grande P.S. I had no contact with Dr. Del Grande's staff. My dealings were only with him but I did not want to detract from his rating so I rated staff with a 5
