Dr. Petrasek performed a bowel resection to remove a cancerous tumor. He was extremely intentive and thoughtful during the pre and post operative stages. I could not ask for a more professional and competent surgeon .

When I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, Dr. Petrasek did seem to be compassionate. However, when I returned to his office for information after my surgery he made me feel extremely unwanted in his office.

I notice that there doesn't seem to be any recent ratings for Dr. P. All the old ones rated him quite high but I do not. He did an upper and lower examination on me. In the follow-up appt. I spent less than 10 minutes in his office and had very little chance to ask any questions as he was busy talking into his recording machine. He treated me as if I had inferior intelligence(which I don't) and would not listen. In my opinion he rates very low w.r. to people skills. However his receptionist Ramona is the exact opposite and I thank her for her excellent service.

Dr. Petrasek was wonderful. He took time, didn't feel like we were being rushed. Very caring.. Nice to see in a surgeion
