Dr. Asgarali saved my life after a botched tonsillectomy in Markham hospital. I began vomiting blood two days after follow up saying everything great. Went to Markham emergency, waited six hrs. to be told by head ER Dr. That quote" you see a little blood and get all dramatic" and sent home. Two hrs later Blood came out of me like a torpedo, my husband put me in car and drove to Pickerin hosp. They called ENT at home when seeing I had filled a basin with blood. Dr. Asgarali showed being my husbands Dr. for years due to hole in eardrum I was comfortable that I would be treated well. Dr. Asgarali tried to cauterize immediatedly, bleeding got worse, he put me in wheelchair and rolled me to OR to work on me immediately while holding th e basin I was filling for 2nd time. It took 1.5 hours to stop bleeding in the OR. I will be forever grateful to Asgarali for saving my life so I could still be here with my family. Since then I have referred two others who absolutely loved his care of them. Dr. Asgarali is the most caring Dr. who I have ever haved that goes way beyond to help his patients when other Dr's I have had refused. I cannot say enough good things about him as he has helped me with other issues and I love his sense of humour. Definite 5 would be more if it went higher.

I had a tonsilectomy in Markham Hosp.2wks later I was vomiting blood, Markham Hosp made derogatory comments to me, referring to wasting their time and sent me home. 2hrs later I was vomiting blood non stop. Husband rushed me to Pickering Hosp. OR was opened and ENT called who tried to quickly cauterize spot, vomiting increased rushed to OR and 1.5hrs of trying to stop bleeding. Dr. Asgarali saved my life. Complaint to Markham hosp emergency was ignored and comment was they did not feel it necessary to call in an ENT doctor as emerg doctor said earlier a little scab comes off, you see a little blood and you get all dramatic. Excellent work ethics from doctors in Markham. By the way this happened on my Birthday which I told Markham Hospital I would not waste my time in a hospital on that day, all was ignored. Pickering Hospital and Dr. Asgarali truly cared about my life. Thank you so much I now went back to Dr. Asgarali to do nose surgery and have had great results. I'll never forget the care and compassion this Dr. showed. Thanks for truly believing in the oath you took to become a doctor. Markham Stoufville hospital obviously missed that.
