She gives the sense that she'd rather be anywhere else than talking to her patient. Her questions, such as "tell me about your parents" are vague to the point of being pointless. Maybe they're trained to offer only open-ended questions, but I could talk for 15 hours about my wonderful parents without really getting started. She also gives the impression that she likes the old-school model where medical people are beyond answering questions.

I've only had one appointment with her, but I had two concerns: One, I had to sit in the waiting room for 35 minutes and then, like many doctors, she doesn't have the courtesy to offer a quick apology. I also question why she breaks up one set of questions about my background into two sessions. Double billing? Lousy bedside manner, but that's secondary if she does a good job.
