Dr. Matosh is one of Renfrew's best Doctors. He is very intelligent and clever. If he finds anything questionable with a person's health, he will very quickly jump on it and get a specialist or other assistance in dealing with it. He is not a molly coddler; and that is Okay, because everyone is entitled to their own personality. I would not be afraid or uneasy if I ended up having him attend me. His bedside manner has nothing to do with his competence and should be overlooked. If he can say good morning or I am Dr. Matosh when he presents himself to attend me than that is suffice for me. He will never belittle or berate you or treat you better because of a higher social standing . He treats everyone with the same amount of concern. He is a very good Doctor.

Does not care much about his patients, he does his job and that is all, very arrogant, egotistical, very non-understanding, not very humorous, very cold person, makes me feel very uncomfortable to talk to him and makes me feel very dumb over my choice of words or questions, looks at me like I'm crazy half the time. The secretary Janice is almost as cold as he is.

dr.john matosh,was my doctor from 1989 to 2007,but i moved from this town of renfrew ontario,in 2007,i have recently moved back to renfrew from newbrunswick canada i did call his office to see if he might be able to take me back as his patient,but unfortunatly for me i was away to long! darn! he is such a careing doctor always took time for his patient,he always took the time to listen to your health issues,and looks after his patients very well,i,am sorry that i lost him as my doctor, but renfrew needs more love careing dr,s like him,being without a doctor is hard i have experienced the hardship of finding a new one in renfrew dispite some new one,s comeing into down,and some of the new one,s i have talked to,including my wifes doctor here in renfrew,are just down right rude to people especially those on low incomes or odsp,are looked down upon,dr.matosh was never like that!i miss him,and renfrew is going to lose a good dr,when he retires,i would recommend him to anyone seeking a doctor,and i give him a top rating based on my own true patient dr. relationship with him from the past.
