I have been seeing Dr. Lanoix for over ten years and really like him. He is direct and to the point but that is good. You're not there to visit. Yes he types while you talk because he is recording the info. He is always friendly to me and my family. Wouldn't change him.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai fait ma première visite à la Clinique de Rockland. Les 2 dames à la réception ont été très acceuillante, et l'infirmière qui a pris mon poids et ma taille était pleine de vie et dhumour! Dr Lanoix m'a donné une très bonne impression. Je l'ai choisi comme médecin parce qu'il semble avoir une bonne écoute, il est "à la page" avec le système informatisé et il dégage une confiance en lui-même grâce à ses 30 ans d'expérience. Je suis contente qu'il m'accepte comme patiente!

Every time I come to the clinic I have to wait, even with an appointment. The phone is busy for hours, and once you get through you are on hold too long. I have been a patient with the clinic for 9 years. I missed one medical and they charged $50.00 in all of my years this is how the clinic treats a patient. It's just a business, I can't wait to move and change clinics.

The new clinic in Rockland is Top quality and very busy. Dr Lanoix has been my family Dortor for over 30 years, he help me through my 2 pregancy and several illness. He is attentive and when needed doesn't waste time to send you for tests or see a specialist. Maybe he is direct, but that's the way he is, me personnally as long as he takes care of my health that the important thing.

Dr. Lanoix does not waste time and states what needs to be said. He is direct, however yet professional at the same time. Health chnages begin with the inidvidual first. He looks at his computer when you speak, but tha I beleive is a trait of being able to listen and type at the same time.

I agree with the other comments, he's not that much interested in you, "do as I say, I know better than you" kind of attitude. I'm looking for another doctor now, may be hard to find.

Makes you feel like you're part of his paycheque as oppose to his patient. While sitting in his office explaining what brought you there in the first place, he stares at his computer screen rather that really listening to understand what is the problem. Does not seem to have any empathy at all --- makes you feel like you're just a number.
