Dr. Himel is the reason I'm alive today! Back in the early 80's, I was getting ill quite often & being female with lower abdominal pain, I found myself in emerg at SGH under his care more than once. He believed I had an illness, where other doc's did not. Thanks to his perseverance I was diagnosed with Crohn's and was transferred downtown for more specific care. I weighed 98lbs & was being feed thru a tube due to the severe damage to my small bowel. After 3 surgeries, I'm healthier today than I ever have been. Thank you so much for your help!!
