Incomplete tests during physical exams. Not probing deep enough with questions. A failure to observe our Father’s rapidly declining health. Our Father has been going to him for 10 years. When he went in because of his concern due to rapid weight loss, dizziness and extreme fatigue, Dr. Somer dismissed him saying "it’s good to lose some weight" and "come back if you feel worse." Our Father was then diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. To call him incompetent would be an insult to incompetent people. Stay away from this doctor as if your life depended on it.

Knowledgeable, professional, overall good doctor. Sometimes late/behind in his clinic though. His secretary/receptionist sounds out of it on the phone, somewhat better in person.
