Dr. Hanna Dief is the best doctor I have ever had. For many years before seeing him, I would be in and out of hospitals. None of the previous doctors could find the correct medication for me. My mood swings were all over the place; due to the fact that I stopped all the medications, I hallucinated very badly. Not only was I seeing things on TV, I heard voices talking to me. The voices were harsh with me, calling me bad girl for giving people cancer; none of it made sense to me now. My sense of smell and taste were affected as well. The most difficult for me to handle at that time was my tactile experience – I was experienced pain that was not there. I thought I was having “lemon” babies. All my five senses were affected. Close to Christmas on one year, I travelled to the States; thinking that I was going to see my boyfriend there. I thought he was one of the characters on TV (a famous doctor) I had delusions of – thinking that we were together – I thought we had telepathy with each other too. I was also afraid that people were following me too (thought they were out there to get me) and doing witchcraft on me. When I was feeling “high” during my mania, I would be very flirtatious and would be extremely dressed up; matching colors from head to toe. During 2014, I decided to see Dief. I tried many pills before then with other doctors. My legs were shaking badly due to the side effects of the pills. Dr. Dief decided to let me try Clozapine and Celexa. All my five types of senses that were affected by the hallucinations stopped recurring after my intake of the medications. My legs stopped shaking as well. Even when my dad passed away in March 2017, I am surprised at myself for being able to cope with it very well. I am very thankful to Dr. Dief. He is a good listener, very understanding, encouraging and very patient. I will not be what I am today without his guidance. I can say that I am fairing very well; I go to Pathways frequently and hold a couple of part-time jobs to get me going. I am very thankful to Dr. Dief and his team of nurses who have gently encourage me to move on positively.

I had a lot of depression after me wife passed away and I was unable to face life then I decided to go and see Dr. Dief ,after all the good reviews I read about him , he started to help me with different ways of therapy and putting me into group sessions and a little amount of medication he is a very good listener give his advice with really care and experience , after 6 months of treatment I started to feel better and now I went back to my job . I see Dr. Dief on regular basis , he has been a big help for me.

I've been seeing Dr. Dief since I was 14 and it's been a pretty great experience. After getting to know me for over a year he started me on a low dose anti-anxiety medication and has barely increased the dosage. He's super easy to talk to and doesn't judge me for anything I say. He really helps me manage my anxiety and my overbearing parents. he helped me a lot and still following up with me whenever I need to see him, thank you Dr. Dief.

After three years of running a successful family business, my brother and I had a big fight and we had to shut down the business and I lost all my money. My wife left me and I had to go back to live with my father who continued to blame me for what had happened to me. I started to complain of many physical symptoms but my family doctor told me that I do not suffer of any real physical problems but I do suffer from a sever depression. He referred me to see Dr. Dief who treated me with some antidepressant medication and also by helping me to start to think positively about my life and future. He suggested that I join a school where after few courses I got a job in the field of my study and I started to make enough money to move to an independent apartment. I now feel much better about myself and my physical symptoms have disappeared. Thanks to Dr. Dief who helped me to start again and supported me during the time when I was giving up on everything.

Dr. Dief is a very good person also he is very smart in his field, I went to many doctors but no one could help me like Dr. Dief did, I have been seeing him now for 2 years and I have had a big change in my life I don't get panic attacks anymore I'm having a good social life and I always follow up with Dr. Dief to maintain my issues, I really thank him ,one of the things I really liked about his treatment that he doesn't not depend on medications only he put you in group sessions and activities to help you with your issues.

Dr Dief has been my doctor for almost 10 years. He is caring and understanding. Most important is that he is knowledgeable about my mental illness and as a result he has helped me tremendously with coping with my everyday life. He takes the time to listen. His assistant is very personable and kind. If you have an appointment you do have to wait at times as he is often on call in emergency. He also has a walkin clinic for patients in crisis. I have used this clinic and found it to be life saving. The wait is worth it.

I started to see him because of depression due to my cancer . HE has been so encouraging and understanding .I have lots of family problems also so many different types of diseases such as Fibromaylgia which causes lots of pain phisiclly and emotionally. I knew about Dr. Dief through a friend of mine.. I never thought that I can talk about my personal problems and health issues with a male doctor until I met Dr. Dief. He is very caring and knowledgeable and he never seems rushed, although he has a lot of patient.

Dr.Dief changed my life ,i was alcoholic and suicidal for 20 years .Dr.Dief was able to make me see my life in a different way.now i am working again and no more alcohol.he was very patient with me,until he showed me the way for healthy life and i followed ,thanks Dr.Dief ,you saved my life with your kindness and patient.

excellent doctor. kind and helpful. It did not take him much time to know where is my problem, yet, he spent enough time to help me with that problem. I cannot thank him enough for seeing me when I needed even sometimes without an appointment.
