I always found Dr. Pusey polite and very thorough. My only complaint would be her recommendation to start retracting my son's intact penis around 1 year corrected age. This information is beyond incorrect, and now my son is 2 1/2 with a fully retractable penis. Retraction can cause damage to both the penis and foreskin, even when done "slowly and in the bath". The foreskin is fused to the glans of the penis at birth, and will seperate itself, no help needed. Perhaps a refresher course in proper care of the intact penis is in order. www.circumstitions.com is an excellent site with accurate care information. I hope that in the future, the Dr. will tell parents "If intact, don't retract. Only clean what is seen". Thank you.
