Has been my doctor since 1998. He diagnosed & cure my 7-year daily issue with my migraines that MANY others couldn’t. You couldn’t ask for a better Physician. He’s attentive, respectful, thorough, incredibly accurate & VERY knowledgeable in his diagnosis; even when you might not agree. He is busy because he is an expert in his field. Hence, why I choose to see the nurse practitioner or other staff, so his efforts can be utilized to deal with urgent medical matters required by other patients. The hospitals ER could afford to take a page or two out of the process from Dr. Gibb practice & the office structured approach. Keep up the good work Dr. Gibb & support staff.

Read the negative comments and was very surprised. It is true that appointments with a Nurse Practitioner are encouraged when appropriate, but I see this as excellent patient care while also making the best use of Dr. Gibb’s time. As for uncaring, hmmm, Dr. Gibbs and his staff have always been wonderful with me. Lastly, the use of after-hours clinics is a complex issue: I want businesses that offer a good service to succeed. There are also issues around continuity of care. I have received great care at an after-hours clinic, but I use them sparingly because I know my family doctor is paying people who are always there for me. I don’t being reminded of that.

Had a very serious issue, kept calling the office, they kept telling me they could not fit me in, that Dr Gibb was too busy. Kept calling for an appointment even though I told the secretary my issue, she did not give me an appointment. I got worse and used walk in clinics, they ordered tests, finally went to emergency, was given a diagnosis that concerned me, called my doctors office again, asked to see Dr Gibb, was told he was too busy could not get in. Had surgery, while recovering I received a letter from Dr. Gibbs office stating that I was using walk in clinics too much. Thank you Ontario health care for providing me with a doctor who is too busy to see me, and then giving them the option to draft up a letter that tells me that I use outside services too much. Something is not quite right.

Dr. Gibb was the only doctor who could help my husband manage is pain from pancreatitis, even Dr. Reddy wasn't able to help him. We have been going to Dr. Gibb since he opened his practice and wouldn't trust anyone else, very caring and thorough.
