Good doctor. TERRIBLE reception staff. Was sworn at on the phone and because I had to cancel an appt, was asked "if I book you an appointment, are you actually gonna show up?"

I have seen Dr. Abu-Bakare for the last 6 years and have always found him to be sensitive and informative about my thyroid issues. He makes suggestions, but always gives me options for treatment. I am a woman and I have never had a bad experience with him. He doesn't always look at me when I am talking to him, but I just assume that he's shy. I joked around at every visit and we would laugh and carry on just fine. While I was sitting in his office, I noticed that had a picture on his wall from the east coast and he even opened up about the time he spent working there. I would reccommend Dr. Abu-Bakare because he is good at what he does. Thyroid levels change and that's an ongoing issue..While some might think that he didn't prescribe the right dose, it could have been that he had not adjusted it yet. Anyway, I think he's great at what he does and I definitely reccommend him!
