This psychiatrist is definitely in the wrong field. I have met many mental health professionals who have been understanding, considerate, caring and truly concerned about their patient's well-being. However, Dr. Young likes to be heard more than giving her patient's a chance to talk. She is a horrible listener and prefers to just prescribe meds and monitor them. Do yourself a favor and see someone else at the perinatal mental health clinic. She will tell you to look up different doctors and try to get help yourself self-refer yourself to other professionals and doesn't even know how referrals etc work in places where she suggests you seek help. Complete waste of my time and it's so sad to be told come to me when you hit rock bottom and need meds that's when I'll come handy!

Very helpful and easy to talk to. Her suggestions on coping methods and techniques to overcome my anxiety and depression were/are fantastic. She was always on time and very welcoming. I would suggest her to anyone struggling with a mental health issue.
