I had my foot caught in a lawn mower. I was taken to some hospital in Scarborough in which this doctor tried to repair my wounds on my left foot. I will call him Dr Jack xxx. He refused to put me under because it was a long week end and he said he didn't want to disturb an anastoligist on a long week end. So he froze my left foot with freezing and the pain was out of this world. He then he rapped up the foot with a cast , around the whole foot including the broken bones and the torn tendon. during the night my foot bled through the cast and gaze. He gave me no medication for the foot. The next day my dad took metal cutters and cut the top of the cast to release the swelling. My dad took me to Toronto Western and Dr Ogilvie-harris took the cast off and re cast my foot. He said if your dad did not cut open the top of the cast I may have lost my foot. He said this Dr was totally incorrect for what he has done but didn't want to cause any trouble for the other Dr. In any case Dr Ogilvie-harris was so nice and caring and tried his best to repair the foot. To this day I cannot lift my big toe or feel any thing in this foot. He took care of me for months trying to get this foot to work properly. I say he is one of the best ortho doctors you can have. He is one of the amazing foot Doctors around.
