I was diagnosed with RA 6 years ago and I’ve been a patient of DR Korean since 2013. Dr Koren has always been very nice and helpful. I’d been doing well for the past couple of years that’s why I didn’t visit her. How ever, lately the pain is back so yesterday I decided to go back for a check up. I was shocked to find out that she won’t see me because I had missed 3 appointments in the past!!!!! I called her office as soon as my family Dr told me the news. I felt so bad! I thought for sure there is a misunderstanding! Her secretory checked the file and said yes, it’s true! There is a note and quickly read the dates that I had missed my appointments. I told her that I had no Idea! I would never miss an appointment intentionally. One of the dates was close to my due date for my son’s birthday! Desperately trying to figure out how this has happened, I asked her to repeat the dates. she said I already told you!! Dr Koren won’t accept you. She made it clear she didn’t want to bother any more I guess she was busy! So I thanked her and I said goodbye. I hung up feeling terrible and puzzled that I have missed 3 appointments!!!! I know her time is valuble. I meant no disrespect. God knows I have no Idea how this has happened. Joggling work and my kid on one hand and taking care of my sick parent on the other hand leaves me little time to take care of myself. But what hurts most is that I felt like she doesn’t care about me, her patient! Like it didn’t matter for all these years that I went to her. I guess we live in a world that everything is about money!. I wish she would have mentioned to me at least once that I have missed an appointment so this wouldn’t come so much as a shock! I wish she was more considerate and tactful and wouldn’t just dump a patient so easily! After all she knows better than anyone how painful and hard this disease is. So when a patient needs her she would be there for them!

Dr Koren is a wonderful doctor with great "bed side manner" is knowledgeable and kind. She has done several procedures on me and has never hurt, despite the area of the injections
