I started attending Dr. Waind about 18 months ago when I had the first bleed behind my eye. I have found Dr. Waind to be an exceptional physician. He has a very busy practice but is still able to make you feel like you're the only patient he has. Dr. Waind and his staff have been lifesavers for me. I feel truly lucky to have such a great team behind me.

These reviews need to be considered with a "grain of salt," as we each describe our own personal experience with the doctor. At one time I would have been one of Dr. Waind's most loyal patients, but over time, how I was treated varied too much. Patients deserve Respect and I did not see this consistently happening. Punctuality is rated at 1 because a 2 pm appointment meant not seeing the doctor until 4 pm. That is just unreasonable in comparison to how other ophthalmologists conduct their businesses. Doctor Waind certainly has the skill and knowledge to be a fine ophthalmologist. The 2 ladies who work in his office always treated me with kindness and respect. In my opinion, they both do the work of several under the current circumstances. My standards are high for all who take a role in my eye care and I need consistency, and above all need to feel that safe measures are always being taken. Excuses don't "cut it." I've found "outstanding" care elsewhere.

Dr. Waind is a vey busy man but he still finds time to chat and make you feel comfortable. I didn't have to wait long for an initial appointment and minor surgery scheduled 2 days later.Everything first-class in my books.

I have found Dr. waind to be an exceptional physician, caring and thoughtful. He and his staff go the extra mile in patient satisfaction. After seeing a number of ophthalmologists in Toronto, he is the only who diagnosed a long-standing eye problem for several years.
