I was referred to this dr. from the attending emergency dr. I have had the same issue for a few years off and on and it became an emergency situation which is why I was referred. I did receive my appt. quickly and He was on time and very friendly in the beginning. When I had to correct him regarding a symptom of my illness he became rude, arrogant and refused to examine me..I was so happy to think I was going to have my medical problem taken care or at least investigated...He asked me if I heard him introduce himself and what he did...I said yes but I don't know what that had to do with anything...it was like the referring dr sent me to the wrong guy and I was being blamed for it. when I tried to describe my symptoms he kept asking me why I was there to see him. I didn't know what he was talking about.So I asked him what he meant and that I was trying to explain my problem...again he said why are you here today...I became a bit frustrated and said "I just need help to fix my issue please help me what do I do if this happens again. He refused to examine me, telling me to go the hospital again if it returns he can't help me. He said All this without listening to my symptoms or examining me. Perhaps it was a bad day but this was completely inappropriate and his behaviour was beyond unprofessional. I never met any staff so I couldn't rate that nor really rate his knowledge. I have never in all my life had a run in with a doctor or any medical professional. I was stunned and saddened by the treatment I received.
