Not a pill pusher but a program pusher. Doesn't overmedicate he under-medicates. Put me on a med which made me suicidal for three years and didn't take my concerns about it seriously.

Dr Villella knows that each patient is unique. As such he is adaptable and creative when dealing with patients. In the beginning, my relationship with him was where I was terrified of him. But he changed his ways making me happy to see him whenever I have an appointment. He is open to suggestions, which helped me get on the correct medications. He has good knowledge in psycho-pharmacology. He knows exactly what medications can help with various things. But his use of a computer while speaking to me is very uncomfortable. He is probably high tech with special software (e.g. software to determine medication interaction) but I am just not used to talking to a psychiatrist while he/she is on a computer yet. Another problem I observed is the lack of "informed consent". He does not discuss adding or changing medications that much or a whole lot let alone get my consent to do so. Dr Villella has the potential to become better. He can be one of the best.
