I seen this Doctor in an emergency dept in northern Ontario for a prescription refill. I have been utilizing the emergency department in my town for many years for prescription refill as I have no family doctor because we have a very large shortage of doctors in northern Ontario. The reason for my visit was to refill a pain medication as I have been doing for years because I have a very painful debilitating neurological condition and my medication helps me to be able to function and still have a quality of life and take care of my children and work. When dr varsava entered in the room to see my he was extremely rude and when he asked me what I was there for I told him that because I didn't have a doctor I was here to refill a prescription. Right away he replied to me extremely rudely and told me to stop beating around the bush and started to tell me that your here for pain medication and I work in busy hospitals and basically your a chronic like the rest. I was so insulted and degraded that I replied to him that he had no business talking to me like I was trash and putting me in the same basket as the people he deals with from his home practice. I might mention that because we have such a shortage of doctors we get doctors from other cities that come into our emergency department. Bottom line is that this doctor was extremely rude and had not one ounce of understanding or compassion and on top of it he had no idea what my medical condition is because it is rare, however he choose to treat me like a piece of crap. I will be contacting the college of physicians because this THING over stepped his boundaries and emotionally made me feel like I was a piece of garbage. HORRIBLE DOCTOR I would rather die then have this thing near me ever again.
