Dr. Laura Musat is a kind and caring Doctor. Yes, she can't spend a long time listening to you but what Doctor can. She listens to you, especially if you are prepared and specific about your issue. Both my daughter and I have gone to her for about 9 months and have been happy with her as a Doctor. The waiting time is "Normal" but we don't go during heavy traffic times. Recommend her so far, so good.

This doctor is the worst! They need to have a 0, because that's what she would get for both punctuality and caring/helpfulness. She is a bad doctor because she is a bad human being. She is rude and gives you attitude, especially if you dare to ask too many questions (can't stay in the office with her more than 5 minutes per appointment because she will get up as your talking and walk to the door). The office works sooo slow, I waited two weeks just to hear back from them about when they booked my specialist appointment! (they did similarly with another specialist appointment I had - which I ended up booking myself because I did not want to wait anymore). Don't be fooled by your "meet and greet" with her, she is the opposite once you sign with her. She is always rushing and you cannot go there with multiple problems because she will cut you off and tell you you need to make a separate appointment to discuss (?!?!?). If you have any questions you can never talk to her on the phone and if you leave a message with the staff she will tell them to tell you to make an appointment but not reply to your question - who does that!?! I had a serious issue and her answer would have been very simple... but she wanted me to come in so she can swipe my health card and to get paid. I worried and worried about my issue but she did not care about that - if she was a decent human being she would have been considerate and have just answered.

I found Dr Musat for my elderly parents last summer. Their GP had recently retired. My Dad is suffering with Lewy Body Dimentia. We had a family appointment with her and I explained that the current Neurologist was HORRIBLE (Dr Lessard) and didn't deserve to practice in the world. And that we needed a new Neurologist. One that wouldn't keep him waiting as he is so frail that he can't sit for long periods of time on hard chairs. Anyway, after thorough questioning she was able to provide us with Dr. C. Lim. And, we are thrilled. Not only does Dr Lim see my Dad quickly, no waiting, he set him up with new meds and my Dad is back now. No more crazy times. Not sure how long it will last, but we will take each day as a gift. So, to Dr Musat, thank you and to Dr Lim, thank you. Both are wonderful and we really appreciate your help!!

Always miserably late and doesn't care. told me to get a new doctor when i brought up the issue my appointment over 1.5 hr late

Staff on phone do not know answers to very simple questions and do not follow through with action that they agreed to. Seem very inexperienced in medical office issues. Doctor okay but hurries to door before you are finished.

Have only been seeing Dr. Musat for 9 months but so far I have found her to be caring and helpful. She is a good listener and takes time to really understand her patients. The only drawback is the very lengthy waits - she is almost always running 30 minutes behind schedule. Also the staff at the clinic are either incompetent or unempowered. Twice now I've called to enquire about two specialist referrals they were supposed to contact me about and neither receptionist could provide any concrete information. One even suggested that I come back in and talk to Dr. Musat again about the referral. What a waste of OHIP dollars - 2 doctor appts to get one referral to a specialist???

I have been seeing Dr Musat for about six months now and find that she has a a great personality and is a very caring Dr and will listen to you and does her very best to get you the treatment and care you need to make you healthy. Kudos to Dr Musat.
