Dr Haines has been wonderfully helpful as I've been through several medical issues. The receptionist that answers the phone/is the first person you see could do with a lesson in being polite and friendly, but all other staff are wonderful... and even the receptionist has really improved in the last couple of years

Have been going to Dr. Haines for about 20 years. Due to the high capacity of patients in the clinic and on his case load, it takes 4-6 weeks to get an appointment at any given time. When your in for your appointment, he can often make you feel rushed to explain the reason for seeing him. Also - Front desk staff can be very rude and short with you. Unfortunately it is very hard to find a family doctor in Barrie, so there is no choice to leave. Otherwise would leave and find a more helpful physician and support staff.

A good doctor but patients needing medical care cannot get in to see him for a visit right away and have to wait a month or more .This does no good when a person is sick or in need of medical care asap.Doctors need to be available to their patients.

Tend to wait too long in the waiting room. Respect Dr. Haines for his open mindedness. I'm a person that seeks the natural way of life first and he is so positive when you have the right alternative for him. I have been with Dr. Haines for 16 years and my family and I are very greatful to have him as our M.D.

I have a new lease on life because Dr Haines referred me quickly to the proper specialists before anything tragic could and would have occurred, his speed and medical knowledge provided a fast track to total recovery. Thanks Doc.

Dr Alexander Haines is truly amazing. He actually cares about his patients instead of just throwing pills at them. He will take the time to provide proper care and really listens to what you have to say. He is the best doctor that I've ever been to

Very hard to get past the reception but if you're persistent you can get through and get an appointment sooner if you think it's important enough.

Very helpful and not quick to jump the gun. If there seems to be an issue that may be abe to reolve itself he will book more apointments to track progress and then if things are not improving he will take action. Many doctors are too quick to prescribe before the fully know the condition these days. Dr. Hains is very thourough.
