Dr Haaland and his staff are incredible. He is always compassionate and really listens and respects patient's and their families. He thinks "outside the box" constantly researching and utilizing new current literature. Wait times are long but that is because he spend a great deal of time focusing on each patient. Thank you we are forever indebted to his expertise, compassion and never giving up!

Dr.Haaland is an excellent doctor! He is able to diagnose and treat ailments in a variety of illnesses. You are forewarned re the wait times and they are because he does not rush each patient but takes the time to address their needs!

Dr. Haaland really listen to me. He treated like he honestly cared. Very Knowledgeable and will keep all the other professionals up to date on what is happening. just because you can't see my pain he doesn't ignore it he still believes you and treats you unlike some other doctors.

The clinicians deal with severe cases in an empathetic and scientific manner. I am very pleased with the manner in which they make themselves available in between visits as well.

The initial visit was a very long one but I was informed ahead of time that it would be. He diagnosed me right away and ordered up huge amounts of blood work. He is consistent and very knowledgeable, I don't enjoy the wait at every visit but it is worth it. My symptoms are completely under control and my life is back to near normal.

Dr. Haaland is consistently extremely late arriving to his office. He books appointments two hours ahead of his arrival time and rushes through patients not taking the time to listen or respond adequately. His staff are rude at times and consistently inconsistent. Although he seems to be bright and analytical his ability to manage real people suffers from his desire to bill hours to OHIP RATHER than assist all of his patients in a meaningful way. With experience he may improve. In meantime a more experienced doctor is highly recommended.

I have Dr. Haaland for 2 years now. I had a different and very well known Rheumatologist for 13 years. I left that office for personal reasons and found Dr Haaland. What a difference!! He is compassionate, caring, extremely knowledgable and always has a smile for you! I highly recommend him and his staff.

Well worth the two hour trip to Barrie to see Dr. Haaland. Caring, intelligent and willing to take the time to explain what is happening and how it will be dealt with. Waiting time was no different then any other doctor I have visited - however the real difference here is that I was examined and diagnosed by a Doctor who actually knows what he is talking about and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that proper treatment is received. Consider yourself very lucky if you are referred to Dr. Haaland - you will have begun the journey to a more comfortable life, no matter what your condition.
