I think Dr. Pereira is an excellent doctor. He has very strong ethics that govern his ability to treat patients properly. He can be short/curt at times, but I find he is a no nonsense kind of guy - get to the point and he will find a solution. He doesn't like being told what to do - I have often been reminded that he is the doctor and he decides what is best for me/my children and no one else is going to tell him how to treat his patients and if I don't like it I could go somewhere else - could be a tad of a control thing, but I through the year I have learned to relinquish control and let him take the lead. He is not a pill pusher, he is honest with medical forms, and he stands behind his decisions. He can be trusted. He has been my doctor for about 12 years now. He was my husband's doctor first. He treats my family and my extended family. His staff - Louisa and Ida are wonderful. He keeps very good hours and you can generally get in to see him the same day you call. Hardly any wait times. I hope he continues to practice for a very long time.

As a Physician one expects a primary care medical practicioner to fit the bill. Dr. Pereira exceeds this expectation of caring, knowledge, mentorship and professionalism. Even if you happen to see him on his personal time. He will inquire about your well being. This is what front line medical service is all about and Dr. Pereira goes above and beyond.

Dr. Pereira's been my doctor for 24 years. I'm a woman in my late 20s and I'll keep him as my doctor as long as I live in the GTA! :) He's fantastic. He knows exactly what's wrong every time. He makes professional referrals when needed and his bedside manner is impeccable. His staff Ida and Louisa have always been friendly too!
