the most rudest, uncompassionate doctor my husband or I have ever met (and due to our health concerns we have dealt with many). She flat out asked why I would marry him knowing he is medically palliative. And made many other inappropriate, very upsetting comments about his situation without this being the one and only time she has ever met him (she was the Emerg Dr that day). She basically told him he has no hope and I should have thought twice about committing to this situation - we both left very upset and has added to the already stress we are experiencing. She should NOT be in any environment where she deals with human beings - she is in the wrong field. I would recommend every one avoid dealing with her in any situation. What a disgrace to the medical community.

It is insane to expect anyone to wait literally 2 months to see you about pain. Your phone hours have gotten better but your approach is mean and course. Sentivity towards people is needed. I do not want to come see you but must as you are my doctor. Most of the time tears are envoked. The walk in clinic or emergency room is not a vaild way to get all of my health care.

She made our child feel incompetent about herself. Maybe this was the doctor's military background coming out. If you are sick, you have to wait 6 weeks or longer so there's no real need to have her as your doctor. Reception is very coarse and not very sympathetic to anyone's needs. Even banks understand you need better hours than 9a-4p and if you have a problem you have a window of a couploe hours in the morning or a couple of hours in the afternoon to try and make contact. I had a serious change to my health which might have resulted in serious health consequences and their response was to keep a chart on my conditions and see us in 5 weeks. Even if she thought it not necessary to see her right away, this change was serious enough to at least speak to me to alleviate our fears that I could be seriously ill.

I love Dr. Rowlands. She has a great approach and evokes trust because of her knowledge base. The staff are also very friendly and I agree with the other posting; it does feel like a small family office that makes us feel welcome. You rock Donna!

Dr. Rowlands is a great dr. I have 4 children and whenever they are sick she gives excellent care and sees them soon as possible. Her Nurse is also excellent, a very personal environment just like they are family. Sure glad she moved to the new location appointments are easier to get now.

I personally had a negative experince with Dr. Rowlands, her striaght forward advice might be OK for some but left my 9year old in tears in the parking lot and feeling very negative about herself and her self image.

I really appreciate Dr. Rowlands as a doctor and have much faith in her medical knowledge and what she doesn't know, she is always willing to learn about with the patient. Her front desk reception however is horrible at trying to book an appointment with her. The receptionist can be rude and dismissive at times when trying to make an appt.

Since moving to her new office it is alot better with appointment making. She is a wonderful caring doctor and tells you like it is no sugar coating that is what I like. She is also wonderful with children my granddaughter loves her my whole family loves her. I feel comfortable telling her anything.

I really really like Dr. Rowlands...except the front desk was relentless in screening calls so as a patient sick with a horrid skin rash, waiting six months to get in to see her was really unfair to me and to her... As it turns out the rash was a symptom of a pretty serious condition. I could have gotten more relief had I seen her earlier... but I REALLY like Dr. Rowlands. She's a DOCTOR.. and that's what I need - a DOCTOR, not a babysitter...
