Dr. Spicer has been our family doctor since August 1985. He is simply the VERY best. I was 25 years old, married with one daughter when we first became his patients and I am now almost 60. He has cared for myself, my pregnancies, my babies, my three grown daughters and now my twin grandsons. I think the saddest day will be when he retires. What will we do without his genuine care and concern for our well being? Thank you Dr. D. Spicer for all the years you cared for us. We love you. The will never be another Dr. D. Spicer.

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR SPICER SINCE I WAS A TEEN AND NOW MY HUSBAND AND THREE KIDS ALSO SEE HIM. WE ALL THINK HE IS GREAT, AND IT IS NICE WHEN A DOCTOR AND NURSE REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE AND SEEM GENUINELY INTERESTED IN YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. IT IS ANNOYING THAT THEY ARE NOT OPEN FIVE DAYS A WEEK, BUT NOW A ADAYS IF YOU CAN FIND A DOCTOR YOU LIKE THATS GOOD ENOUGH. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE SUCH A POOR RATING FOR STAFF IF DUE TO THE EXTREMELY RUDE RECEPTIONISTS AND OFFICE MANAGER. NURSES ARE GREAT.

Dr. Spicer and his nurses are great. He often has medical students working with his team and they have always been fantastic too. Due to the fact that he is only open 3 days a week it is often hard to get quick appts, but he is great once you are there. The reception staff lack a bit in their friendliness but otherwise he is a good doctor.

I have been with doctor spicer for about 20 years. He has always been good to me. He listens very well, and his staff are attentive. Yes, it takes at least 1 to 2 weeks to get in to see him but if its urgent there is his after hours clinic at the D-wing at the BGH monday to friday from 5-7pm. This is as good as it gets until the government gets us more doctors. Overall, happy to have doctor Spicer.

When I have the chance of seeing the doctor or nurse it is great. The doctors and the nurses are all knowledgeable and kind. The problem is when I need to see them right away. The average wait is at least a week for an appointment and recently it was over a two week wait. I can't stand the receptionists, they are sometimes patronizing and invasive. It is as if some days they forget to take their meds or got into a fight with their spouse and take it out on the client. I personally have never had to wait in the waiting room for more than 5 or 6 minutes, that is a good wait time. Overall

The nurses are wonderful and Dr. Spicer is a great listener and very thoughtful. Punctuality got a three because there is usually about a 10-15 minute wait which for doctors really isn't too bad.
