I have had Dr. Elliott as my doctor for many years since I was a child. Some may think his "dry humor" is funny but I find him extremely rude and uncaring. His Nurse who is there most often is very spaced out and does not listen to you at all, she makes poor suggestions and acts as if she has a morphine addiction and is drugged up all of the time, maybe she just hates her job that much. When I was a teenager I went in for anxiety and depression and was basically told I was being a bratty spoiled teenager by him and that I should just get over it. It was only a second time I went in years later that I finally got a referral to a psychiatrist. He barely gives you time to actually answer questions and just wants to get onto the next patient. There is also very poor communication with the staff as I've been told by staff I would only be going in for consultation only to be surprised by jumping right into unprepared for intimate examinations with a 50 something year old man who obviously cares nothing for my body or health. (This is especially difficulty dealing with anxiety at the same time, but its not like doctors should care about how their patients feel or anything right?). I am extremely uncomfortable with this man and I will avoid going through anything with Dr.Elliot at all costs unless absolutely necessary from now on, until I can find a new doctor. I do not recommend him unless you only plan on having small easy to fix health problems.

Dr. Elliot and his staff have always been fantastic. When I have had health issues, he and his staff have always been attentive, caring and professional in their treatment and handling of myself and my family. I could not be happier with him as my doctor.

Dr. Elliott has become increasingly rude and sarcastic. He is no longer pro patient. He refused to correct forms that he filled out incorrectly. His new receptionist is also very rude and gives off a terrible attitude even when you need to see him right away. The wait times unless you have a cold (he will see you same day) are about 2 to 3 weeks. He is rarely in the office and as another patient mentioned makes you feel like you shouldn't seek out help for a mental illness or anything else, like you are making it up and your pain is not real. Another member of my family was scared to ask him for a drs note as he is so negative.

Dr E has little to no compassion. My family and I have been going to him for nearly 30 yrs. His attitude has deteriorated over the years and he didn't have much to begin with. I suffer from clinical depression and have for most of my life. The contempt and disrespect he treats me with are appalling. He may send you out for tests or to a specialist but will deliver the results with contempt, disgust and will leave you feeling like a liar, stupid, worthless and like you've done something wrong. No person should leave a doctors appt feeling this way. And you cant ever have an emergency because you will have to wait 2 weeks minimum. You can beg the staff but no success. I will never subject myself to him again. I didn't choose to have mental health issues. Who the hell would?! But I wont be treated like I'm sub-human anymore.

Dr Elliott is only interested in treating healthy patients. When my mother was ill, he refused to see her, or refer her to a specialist. When he finally did, it was too late, and she died. Now my aging father cannot even get an appointment...and basically this Doctor's philosophy is...go to the emergency room...my father had to do that a few weeks ago. Dr Elliot did not bother to see him on his rounds in the hospital..we were told he was in the hospital, and knew my father was there. When the attending physician told my father he must see his family Doctor within a week of leaving the hospital, and my dad called for an appointment, Dr Elliot told his secretary...he didn't need to see him, and refused to book the appointment. If we could find another Doctor willing to take on an 88 year old man...we definitely would...It seems this Doctor is in the profession for the money...not the patients. Shameful.

He only cares about people who do not have on going health issues. When my husband was ill he did NOTHING to help him and my husband died. If he had done some tests maybe he would still be with us.
