This is the bottom of the barrel. I spoke to many health care professionals in the last few weeks and all of them told me I would be better off getting a new family doctor that has time to see her patients

I may as well be going to a,drop in clinic You never know who you are going to see when you have an appointment. I have been a patient of Dr. Takhar since she came to town and I still feel like a stranger. Two specialists have told me to get a new family doctor....one who listens, cares and follows up. This office does non of that

Dr Balls deep Takhar, is a useless doctor as is her staff. She is very rude (told me to shut up when I tried to explain what I was there for). She is very incompetent, when I was supposedly having a mild heart attack, she sent me out of her office, telling me to go to the emergency,. I had driven myself to the office, so shouldn't of been driving myself anywhere, if I was having a heart attack. Staff weren't much help either. Fortunately, I didn't live too far away, and was able to drive home and pick up my husband, so he could drive me to the ER.

Zero Stars. Complete Joke. Inexperienced. MUST READ!! I went in search for help with hormonal acne. Asking no questions about my skin, Dr Takhar immediately said a peel package is what I needed to take care of my acne and walked out of the room. I agreed since she is the one who is supposed to be a professional. When I went in for my first treatment 3 weeks later, I was booked for 9 am and at 9:45 I walked up to the desk asking what was going on, the receptionist was like "oh sorry" and the esthetician was just talking to a friend wasting my time, and no one knew who I was or what I was there for. I had to keep telling the receptionist that Dr Takhar set me up with the peel package for my acne. They asked "which one?" Dr Takhar had never told me.. I didn't know, I thought it was their jobs to keep patients and their care organized. I only remembered the price she quoted me which was $1,200! for a 6 peel package! So they fully charged me before anything else.. of course they want the money before they look after you or your concern that brought you to them in the first place. Every appointment (I always booked at 9 am and they would never see me till 10, horrible time management and double bookings) I had to remind them of who I was and what I was there for, ALSO every apt the esthetician forgot what stage of peel we were at, asked me all the same questions. She even forgot that I had purchased their 3-step $150 acne skin care line, and had used it for 6 months with no improvement to my skin, then she actually argued with me saying I never used these products before (we argued to the point where I had to show her the receipt..) After my peels were coming to an end I had complained that the peels were almost over and there had been absolutely NO change to my acne, and I continued to break out through the peels. I said "I'm pretty disappointed that these peels have done nothing for my acne so far.." the esthetician said "oh these peels don't help with acne, they'll help your age spots" For the record.... I'm 23, fair skinned, and covered head to toe in freckles... not age spots. I was so upset! I told Dr Takhar I needed help with hormonal acne, not my freckles. I felt like she recommended a treatment for something she ASSUMED I wanted to take care of?! The esthetician also argued with me that my acne was not a big deal, it was just "occasional acne" that's not even a proper term! (and I've had acne all my life that has never gone away.. how is that occasional?!) Even though I was clearly not happy or satisfied with my ill-advised treatment Dr. Takhar's team offered no sympathy.. and no refund. I finished the last peel or two since I couldn't get my money back, mentioning every time that I was unhappy and unsatisfied. I had not seen Dr. Takhar once since the initial consultation. I asked to see her and that's when the esthetician said "Dr Takhar isn't here anymore.. she moved to a different clinic." (even though they were still using "Dr. Takhar Cosmetic Clinic" apt cards) I was blind sided! I asked "when did this happen?!" the esthetician said "oh probably 3 or 4 months ago" I didn't even know who was running this clinic anymore! I felt that was a horrible violation of client trust, EVERY client should be notified when Drs or practices change over (isn't that a legal obligation?!) I never saw Dr. Takhar again. This horrible experience has shattered my trust in medical/cosmetic professionals. I feel like this was a money grab and I fell victim to lack of/ill information and ill practices. Always double check/research what treatments are recommended for you. Don't waste your money and faith like I did.

Practice is only about the $$$ and not about the patient. Always in a hurry. They just look at you. A stethoscope is never use to diagnose a health issue. Poor Poor patient care

Franklin Med Centre, operated under Dr.Takar is an absolute JOKE. This is NOT a Medical Clinic, but rather, a money mill. You are made to wait for an unbelievable amount of time when you're there, and then more time, once you are actually brought into one of their patient rooms. My last visit took THREE HOURS by the time I was actually seen! It's very difficult to even get an appointment. When you speak to other patients, in the waiting room, it is common that they've ALL had negative experiences in dealing with this place, as No One is happy with the service received in the past. Once you are actually speaking to a Dr, you are very quickly rushed through, in order to ensure max OHIP billing on their part. There aren't't enough Dr's on staff, because the ones who have worked there cannot stand how things are run, so they just don't show up. You are a looked at as a Customer, rather than a patient - they will have you return multiple times, in order to double or triple- bill OHIP, so your problems are not looked at in the most efficient manner. All you need to do is speak with the many unsatisfied clients in the waiting room, and you'll hear story after story after story, of how they've been inappropriately treated by this office. Not to forget also, how they try to push you to their other services, such as their cosmetic clinic. This is a max-profit Business - NOT a medical Centre.

Although Dr. Takar is supposedly my family doctor I have not seen her for at least a year although as a diabetic patient I am seen every 3 months, This appt is necessary in order to obtain medications needed as these are only prescribed on a 3 month basis and no renewals by phone. Always a new doctor.

When you call the phone number for this doctor there is a recording that phones are not answered most of the hours she is open. When you walk in you are told you should have called. When you finally see a doctor, which is never the same doctor, you are rushed and feel like you are wasting the doctors time just by asking to see them.

Good Doctor if you can get an appointment to see her. You cannot get a quick appointment normally 1 - 2 weeks wait times. Has schedule like a specialist. Not availabe when you need to be looked after. The Booking Staff is not helpful and accomodation . Does not even make a suggestion on how to get in to see a doctor.

Great Doctor- If she suspect issues a referral is made to a specialist. You can see a nurse pract. same day and depending on your issue you can see the Doc. Office staff issues from patients are addressed directly by the doctor.

More interested in her private botox business than her medical practice. When told I had cancer(pancreatic) she gave up on me and said,"Make your good will". Another doctor saved my life.

I have needed help during the after hours and gone to the clinic only to be turned away saying my condition ( stitches needed removing ) wasn't an emergency, with only four people waiting.I was on contract and wasn't paid for missing work.. I explained this as well. I wasn't happy.
