Dr.Issakoff-Meller is very caring and personable. It is evident that she cares for her patients on a personal level. She is great with getting referals for her patients when needed. The fact that she is so personable often does mean longer wait times. I can't recall the last time I waited for less than 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to see her. I have waited as long as an hour and a half before. I have seen her for years, however I have become increasingly concerned about the care she provides over the past handful of years. It seems that when I go for an appointment her solution is always the same, stop eating carbohydrates. It doesn't matter what my concern is that seems to be her response. I have gone in for a simple prescription renewal before and stayed for 30 minutes for a lecture on carbohydrates only to have her forget why I had initially come in by the end of the appointment.
