Thank goodness I was referred to another urologist due to an unrelated urological issue I was having. The second urologist was quite concerned with my abnormally high PSA readings and after having performed a prostate biopsy it was determined that I had stage 2 prostate cancer. My concern is that Dr. Wesley-James didn't seem to appreciate that my PSA readings were alarmingly high for someone my age and in addition, his diagnosis was that my prostate was enlarged but benign. If not for the competence of the second urologist I could be well on my way to certain death from prostate cancer.

Found this doctor/surgeon to be difficult to communicate with and did not have a successful result from a simple TURP surgery until another surgeon was reached for a 2nd opinion
