I learned about Dr. Moniz through another relative. I wasn't happy with the Cardiologist that had been treating me for over 3 years. I was treated seriously by Dr. Moniz, my health investigated and rectified. He's calm cool organized and listens, doesn't rush you through. The office is pleasant and professional. I feel anyone concerned with their heart health would be in good hands having him as their Dr.

went to him for hypertension and was prescribed 3 meds. I experienced some bad side-effects (extreme bloating, trouble breathing, muscle weakness, etc.)He also wanted me on another med for high cholesterol and high blood sugar. I wish he'd offered alternatives to all those meds or talked about lifestyle changes. I've done the research and made the changes necessary on my own and am glad to say I don't use any meds for the first time in a long while.
