They seem to have their good and bad days. Sometimes I find Dr. Szilvassy (although he does have his compassionate side) tunnel-visioned and not open enough to the patients' ideas or possible alternative treatments/diets, etc.

too shallow minded and dogmatic; does not get back on time to set up appointments. he is incompassionate of people over 60, it seems.....

Doesn't listen, You have to wait a day or so for a call back and usually won't give you an appointment. Have had chronic pain for 2 years now. He sent me to one specialist and then said he's done all he could for me. oh ya gave me sample drug of the month and when I told him I'm suffering side effects including suicidal thoughts that's when he sent me to a specialist. I asked him to get off the drug he said no! wait to see the specialist which was months later! What a great doctor! No I take that back, he's no doctor! Retire pleas imre! for the sake of people who think your a doctor!

Been a patient for 20+ years, and find that He is the best I have come across...caring and knowledgeable. Comfortable to talk to about any concerns I might have. A great listener and sounding board.

I always feel like I'm being rushed out the door. He's punctual, the staff are really kind,and caring but Dr Szilvassy comes across to ME as a chauvinist, he doesn't always listen to my concerns.
