Was referred to Dr Gelberg with a spot on my lung which was suspected to be cancer. Dr Gelberg was calm explained what he was going to do and proceeded quickly to figure out what was going on. Within two weeks had CTScan, biopsy etc and had determined it was not cancer. Grateful I was referred to him at Firestone clinic.

When I was referred to the Firestone Clinic last Sept. with a spot on my lung I became Dr Gelbert's patient. At my first appointment be was a calming influence and clearly explained his course of action. With in two weeks he had ruled out cancer. He clearly explained what he was planning to find out what was going on. After having a number of experience with the medical system over the past year I have learned we sometimes cannot get answers immediately but if the Dr clearly explains what he/she is planning to do it makes it much easier for the patient to cope. Dr Gelberg has helped me cope. I feel fortunate to have been referred to the Firestone Clinic and to have Dr Gelberg as my Dr.

I came with my mother for the appointment, and found Dr. Gelberg to be very professional, thorough, and compassionate with his explanations to my mother. My Mom had to have her lungs drained and he was very gentle.

Dr Jacob is an amazing respiratory specialist I couldn't breathe let alone move I was in unbearable pain .He examined me and within 24 hrs of seeing me after testing and exrays My lung was drained ,within 12 hrs Iwas breathing and walking,talking Ty see you soon for follow up app.
