Dr. Mercante's care is great. Support services not so much - very difficult to a get a same day appt. I question the screening that the admin personnel use to "triage" patients. Attitudes of staff tend to reinforce "if you don't like it, go elsewhere" which is in sharp contrast to the rest of the medical services (physio, dental, x-ray, pharmacy) which are located in the same building. It is always difficult to get through to the receptionists by phone, and returning a call from a staff member can be a lesson in futility. Comments regarding wait times for appointments are accurate, in most cases I have waited 20-25 minutes past a scheduled appointment. In fairness this is often due to Dr. Mercante dealing with other patients, and it taking longer than the scheduled time.

Dr. Mercante is knowledgeable, patient, caring and considerate. We really like her! The staff are also great. Only issue we encounter on a regular basis is difficulty in getting thru to the office. The lines seem busy all the time. Presents a challenge when trying to return calls. If it were not for this, we would give her and the office A++++

usually always a wait time (regardless of your appt time). there were a few times our kids were sick and we could not get in to see her for at least 2 days. we ended up going to a hospital and both kids had ear infections. when you can get in, she is a terrific and caring doctor and very helpful.
