Dr. Shannon was my OB for my second child, and was one of the many OB's I had while I was in the hospital (for a month due to complications) with my first. He was the only Doctor, out of the 15 or so doctors that I saw while in the hospital for a month with my first pregnancy, that actually explained to me what was going on with my pregnancy and why they had to keep me there. He was able to put us at ease. After that moment I decided that if we had any other children he would be my OB. He was wonderful with my second, explaining everything and really showing that he cared!

Dr. Shannon was an amazing OB. I was lucky to have had Dr. Shannon after my labor with my second child. I had a midwife throughout my care but due to unexpected problems after delivery ( 4th degree) Dr. Shannon was able to assist me with any questions and concerns that I had. He was amazing!! July 2011.
