Dr Sugimoto was like a ray of sunshine bursting into the room - he explained what was happening and what the surgical team would do. He had read my paperwork carefully and knew about my background - he is caring and intelligent, listens and asks questions that draw out points that need to be considered for recovery. He is a remarkable communicator - his after surgery was thorough and thoughtful. I left knowing what was ahead - I was not discouraged, I was determined to take advantage of everything the Hospital offered to find and kill the cancer cells. Dr. Sugimoto is a remarkable man and Surgeon.

DR. SUGIMOTO WAS MY SURGEON WHEN I WAS ADMITTED TO LHSC IN MARCH 2014 WHEN HE DID AN EMERGENCY HYSTERECTOMY AND SAVED MY LIFE. HE FOUND OVARIAN CANCER. THANKFULLY HE REMOVED THEM ALL AND IT WASNT TERMINAL.

Dr. Sugimoto helped me through some very anxious moments before, during, and after my surgery. He is an incredible surgeon with insight that helped me cope throughout this very difficult time. Always patient and never in a hurry to answer any questions you may have, I consider it a privilege to have met Dr. Sugimoto. It goes without saying that Dr. Sugimoto's efficient staff is truly a reflection of his professionalism and dedication. He gives over and above what I have ever experienced before.
