Dr. Nagpal has been my GP for over 30 years. He is a great guy and a good doctor. He is very old school and sticks to what he knows best which is what he was taught in school many years ago. He has however referred me when necessary to good people in other fields of expertise.

Let me start out by saying his assistant Pat is the most amazing human being ever, however Mr Nagpal is only useful in identifying PHYSICAL injuries or pain you may have. When it comes to mental health and illness, I would highly recommend you stay away as far as possible. He is very hessistant to issue referrals, if he doesn't detect anything wrong with you (blood tests, simple questions) it must mean you are in perfect health and will send you away. A friend of mine who was also a patient, ended up turning to street drugs and almost killed himself as his mental illness was too complex to deal with, luckily he has been dealing with with the Ottawa Queensway Hospital now. I cant stress enough that if there isn't any physical pain or injury you are experiencing, you should not be seeing mr Nagpal
