Dr. Lai is a pleasant, friendly and professional gentleman who treated me with great courtesy, likewise his staff. There are a number of doctors named Lai and I think those who wrote negative comments are talking about another doctor, or maybe it is they themselves who are rude.

Dr Lai was EXTREMELY rude to me as a parent and to my son who was the patient. He has no patience or tolerance of children! We have switched surgeons and are much happier elsewhere.

I took a half day off work for my appointment. He did not show up for the appointment and his staff did not even bother to call. They were plain rude about it too. Not impressed.

He is a great doctor. My 3 years old daughter has had her tonsils out and she is doing great! We cancelled the first time because she was sick, and he/his staff was trying to book ASAP, they really care about us. Excellent doctor!

Dr. Philip Lai is an excellent surgeon who did surgery for my five-year old son and also a kind of gentleman. For my son's situation was serious and emergency, Dr. Philip Lai provided him special care and treatment . We are appreciated .
