Dr Abdelbary is one fantastic surgeon, He will sit and listen to your concerns and not just ignore them like so many others. He seems to care very much and is always apologetic for being late. As I say to him , that person needed the extra time perhaps I might next time.I feel very fortunate that he did my surgery.

My goodness,I was so anxious having to go to have surgery on my hip. I was at the point of trying to live with the broken hip rather than going. What a surprise I got when I meant Dr Abdelbary. He is an amazing person and an amazing surgeon. He actually cares and has a sympathetic ear for his patients, he listens and explains things thoroughly.I was so pleased to have him as my surgeon. Going into the O.R. I wasn't the least bit nervous, he came an assured me all would be fine.I broke my hip in Nov. and it took me this long to finally get to him,I thank God for that.He put a new titanium hip in and the next day I was walking with crutches,and able to do stairs, I lifted that leg off the bed a good 10 inches and they allowed just about 30 hours after the surgery. A week later I had no crutches or canes and doing stairs one after the other. He also put on that two inches that I had lost on that side and I would say it is almost if not perfect.I would say he is amongst the best. The nursing staff on the orthopaedic floor was amazing and I thank them so much for the care they gave.Ottawa General has my vote along with DR.ABDELBARY.

Dr. Abdelbary is an amazing doctor. He is a very skilled surgeon and did amazing work reconstructing my knee. He also has the most professional and personable manner I have ever encountered in a doctor. He cares about his patients and makes an effort to ensure his patients are comfortable and well informed. As a result of his amazing reconstruction surgery I regained a significant degree of mobility in my leg and have seen a substantial reduction in pain and discomfort.

Dr. Abdelbary saved my son's leg after a very serious infection which he was, thankfully, quick to diagnose. He is a knowledgable and caring surgeon/doctor. He worked extremely well with the nursing staff and with my son and with our family. He is also a fine human being. Thank you Dr. Abdelbary and also Dr. Wood.
