A few years ago I would have rated Dr.McArthur as a good doctor, but not now. She has become cold, judgmental, draws unfair assumptions , breaches confidentiality, and doesn't listen .she tells me I take up too much of her time. Last month she loudly, publicly threw me out of her office setting in a clinic, then wrote a long, ranting letter to me listing all my faults and altered personality. This has been devastating and extremely stressful, until I found this site and read of similar experiences. What a relief to be de-rostered! She needs help. This is not normal behaviour.

I am so glad I read the last two comments. I have recently had a very bad experience with her;she became loudly , publicly angry with me , then sent me away like a child. (I am an older woman). I have been agonizing over this for some time. Now I feel she needs some help.

My husband and sons have been patients of Dr. McArthur's since she started her practice in Owen Sound. She is a wonderful and incredible real human being and pays exceptional attention to deatail and getting to the bottom of medical issues. We count ourselves very lucky to have her as our family doctor!

Dr McArthur has lost her empathy for her patients. I found she just doesn't care anymore. She needs to put herself in her patients shoes.

Dr. McArthur has become an uncaring Dr over the past few years. She has no time for her patients and doesn't really listen. If you visit her more than once for the same issue because it hasn't been resolve she gives the impression you are bothering her and learn to live with it. Too bad she was once a great Doctor.

Carol is faboulous she has gone out of her way many times to make me feel important,laugh and be there to hold my husbands hand when required. Ann louise is down to earth, which means she explains things with empathy and real life common sense.
