Dr. Van Gentevoort misdiagnosed a lump that I felt on my breast. She told me it appeared to be an injury. I asked if I could get a mammogram to be sure and she said we don't give mammograms unless you are 40. A year later I was still concerned because the lump was not going away and seemed larger. I finally got a mammogram and a biopsy done. Dr. Van Gentevoort hit an artery during my biopsy and blood was shooting out. The lump was cancerous and needed a mastectomy. Do not recommend.
