I realize that canceling appointments happens a lot and charges should be applied in certain cases, but when a patient like myself suffers a concussion 10 days prior to an appointment caused by a car accident which was not my fault and is taken off work and can not drive, I think that is an excellent reason for that patient to cancel a preceedure. I called 7 days prior to my procedure and was told that if I cancel, I will be charged for the appointment because of the amount of procedure allowed to the Doctor at the Hospital in a certain time period. So, regardless of my injuries, I am going through with the appointment.....so in his mission state to about putting the patients well being first, I have to put that into question.
