As a health professional and a patient for 6 years I have found Dr. Kurup to be a compassionate, clear, perceptive and committed professional, she has good boundaries which people may misinterpret. Excellent psychiatrist!

Lekha is rather unprofessional. I called her for a prescription refill and she answered with a rude "hello?" without any sort of professional introduction like "this is Dr. Kurup". Then I explained that I need a refill and she began asking aggressive questions. During sessions she doesn't really help. She just kind of laughs the problems off and write you a prescription. On another occasion I got my pharmacist to send her a prescription refill form and it took her 5 days to send it back. This was after I followed up twice with her.
