Dr. Vijay Kumar is dismissive and contemptuous. His bed side manner needs improvement. After an infant care development worker requested a hearing test from Dr. Kumar he refused and lectured me that my child was tested at birth and that it would be a waste of time and resources. My gut told me something was wrong. I had the family doctor do the referral and turns out my son had 50% hearing loss. Had I not requested help from the family doctor my son could have had permanent long term hearing damage. I would not refer Dr. Vijay Kumar to any parent.
