Dr. Amir is knowledgeable and highly intelligent if perhaps lacking in compassion, empathy and a bedside manner. Sometimes the wait is over 2 hours as well.

Dr. Amir took the time to explain my treatment to me in a way I could understand. He also gave each of my questions a thoughtful answer. I feel fortunate to have had him as my oncologist.

Dr. Amir is fantastic at what he does. He has been a tremendous support in managing my chemo side effects and has a sense of humour that is well received. I would strongly recommend him.

Compared to my surgical oncologist and plastic surgeon I find Dr. Amir pretty detached and clinical. He rarely walks in my appointments knowing my file and doesn't take a very holistic approach to treatment. Nothing has gone wrong, he's a professional and reputable doctor, but nothing special.
